Broward Center for the Performing Arts
At the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, I participated in the Costume Design Clinic, a hands-on, immersive, multi-month project that explored the full creative process behind designing costumes for the stage. From research and script study to final designs, I created full costume designs for the pilot production of Beetlejuice Jr. Collaborating with other students, directors, art educators, and theatre professionals, I worked through each stage of design development from initial sketches to fabric selection and presentation. My designs were chosen to be realized for the stage for the characters Beetlejuice and Lydia, allowing me to see my creative vision brought to life in performance.
