BARCLAY - Annie Junior Scenery Design

I was given the wonderful opportunity to design scenery for BARCLAY’s production of Annie Jr. at the Boca Black Box Theatre. I collaborated with the director to determine the vision for the New York City skyline scenery. These pieces were all hand drawn and hand painted. I had a team of two who assisted with the silhouette painting after I drew out all of the designs. The project was completed in 12 hours to meet the deadline of the production schedule.

Designing the scenery for this project was especially meaningful to me because these are students who are first being exposed to theatre. I was so happy seeing the excitement on all of their faces, and the ability to add inspiration and joy to their amazing performance of Annie Jr.
